Captain of Leicester City’s Development Squad, Moore will also head to Belgian Proximus League side OH Leuven on loan after a deal was agreed for the 6ft 5ins defender to link up with the team until January 2018.

The move comes after an excellent pre-season as part of the first team squad for the talented 20-year-old, who impressed with his performance for Craig Shakespeare’s side in the summer’s Premier League Asia Trophy as he played a key role in the victory over West Bromwich Albion in Hong Kong.

He will be eligible to make his debut in OH Leuven colours on Saturday evening as the Belgian second tier side host Cercle Brugge inside King Power at Den Dreef Stadium in their third fixture of the season.

OHL’s season began with an excellent display in a 2-2 home draw with Lierse in early August and with Moore’s addition bolstering their defensive options, they will be looking to build on that promising performance in the coming weeks.

The commanding 20-year-old defender has progressed rapidly through the Club’s Academy into first team contention and was a part of the England Under-20s squad that lifted the prestigious Toulon Tournament title this summer, alongside team-mate Harvey Barnes.

Coalville-born Moore is an authoritative centre-back with outstanding qualities in the air who has excelled at both Under-18s and Under-23s level for the Foxes in recent seasons, leading to his inclusion in  the matchday squad for City’s home clash with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last term.

Elliott’s previous experience with the Academy and Development Squad, which includes an FA Youth Cup semi-final appearance, have been key to his progress, which has also been recognised at international level with appearances for England Under-18s and Under-20s.
