Choudhury: Aspirational Foxes Reaping Due Rewards

The Foxes climbed to fourth in the early league standings with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Swansea City at Holmes Park on Monday night, their fifth success in six outings in all competitions.
While City have often been forced to battle for their Premier League 2 Division 1 survival at late stages in past seasons, Steve Beaglehole’s men have already gathered a sound total of 14 points this term.
Speaking to LCFC TV at full-time, Choudhury revealed how their hard work in pre-season, carried out during summer camps in Jersey and France, is paying off now the new campaign is gathering pace.
Choudhury: Signs Are Good For Under-23s

“We had big aspirations at the beginning of the season after a good pre-season,” he said, speaking at full-time in Whetstone.
“The manager has told us to try and prevent taking it to the last few games of the season.
“In the last two seasons, we’ve left it to the last couple of games to be safe. We have really pushed on and worked hard in training, everyone has been doing it right.
“We’re seeing that now in the performances.”
Admiral Muskwe struck twice to take his own personal tally up to five this season and Choudhury is pleased to see his City team-mate back to his best after a jaw injury last term.
Choudhury, who made his senior debut for the Club against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup last month, is also buoyed by how City's Under-23s are finding a way to break sides down.
“He [Muskwe] struggled with his injury but he has found his confidence again as you can see,” the 20-year-old midfielder continued.
“His goals help the team out massively. The defensive shape; we do it a lot in training, the manager drills it into us that we need to be more resilient and ruthless at times.
“Especially with [Swansea] going down to 10 men, it helped us and we looked like a team. If we keep a clean sheet, with our front three and the options we have on the bench, we will win the game.”
