- Wilfred Ndidi is braced to appear at the Africa Cup of Nations over the next month
- Ndidi's Nigeria will face Burundi, Guinea and Madagascar in Group B
- The Super Eagles have won the competitions three times
City's international stars are already well into their summer schedule of fixtures with Ben Chilwell and Harry Maguire notably starring for England at the UEFA Nations League.
Ndidi, who represented Nigeria at the FIFA World Cup in Russia last summer, has once again linked up with Gernot Rohr's men, who have previously won the competition on three occasions.
The Super Eagles are among the hopefuls to add a fourth title to their tally and Ndidi, who made 38 appearances for the Foxes last term, is now an established member of the squad.
Nigeria, ranked 45th in the FIFA World Rankings, begin their AFCON journey with a fixture against Burundi in Alexandria on Saturday 22 June (6pm BST).
Ndidi and his team-mates will then remain in Alexandria to tackle Guinea on Wednesday 26 June (3:30pm BST) and Madagascar on Sunday 30 June (5pm BST) in Group B.
