- Elysia Boddy joins LCFC Women on a short-term contract
- The 18-year-old was previously with Middlesbrough WFC
- The midfielder is a England youth international
Boddy arrives after a spell at Middlesbrough WFC, having been with the Teeside club since the age of 16 and immediately breaking into the first team squad - gaining a wealth of experience in the FA Women’s National League in the process.
Speaking to LCFC TV, she said: “I’m over the moon, I think it was a step that I needed to take and it’s a great club with great facilities, so I’m really happy to be here.”
Her talents have also been recognised on the international stage with her development seeing her become a regular fixture in England’s youth age groups in recent seasons.
Boddy will now continue training with LCFC Women ahead of the Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture away at Birmingham City on Sunday 6 February.
