- Wanya Marcal-Madivadua shortlisted for PL2 Player of the Month
- The 19-year-old scored in games against Brighton and West Ham
- The young Foxes won both fixtures to move up the league table
The youngster netted twice for the Foxes in January – scoring the winning goal in league games against both Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United.
Against the Seagulls, he took aim from a tight angle and saw an unstoppable strike find the roof of the net via the crossbar late on, while at West Ham he raced towards goal and slotted a neat finish beyond the goalkeeper in the final minute of normal time.
A total of eight players have been nominated for the award, with the winner to be announced via the Premier League’s website and the PL Youth Twitter page.
