On Easter Monday, King Power Stadium hosted Jamaica against Barclays Women's Championship outfit Sheffield United in an exhibition friendly fixture that ended 2-0 in favour of the Central American side, with Chantelle Swaby and Chenya Matthews scoring the only goals of the match.

Khadija Shaw, who is currently the Barclays Women's Super League top scorer with 16 goals so far this season, captained the Jamaican side, while Leicester City loanee Sophie Barker wasn't included in a much changed Sheffield Utd side.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Drew Spence was in the Jamaica side.

In front of a crowd of almost 500 people, the game had to wait until the 53rd minute to see the first goal, when Swaby headed in from a corner, before the win was confirmed in the 83rd minute when Shaw rounded Blades 'keeper Fran Stenson to supply Matthews with the ball in front of an empty net.

LCFC Women return to Filbert Way for WSL action when they welcome Liverpool on Saturday 29 April (12:30pm BST kick-off), as the Foxes hope to continue their run of form which most recently saw them beat Reading 2-1, to lift themselves off of bottom spot in the league standings.
