Now into the sixth year of a wide-ranging commercial partnership, the Club’s trip to Thailand was the perfect opportunity for the two to come together for a celebration event.

Vardy, Faes and Justin were accompanied by four stars of yesteryear too, with Premier League champion Wes Morgan there alongside League Cup winners Emile Heskey, Matt Elliott and Gerry Taggart. Chang have been by the Club’s side through it all over the past six years and their branding will once again adorn Leicester City commercial space in 2023/24.

Members of Leicester City's playing staff past and present were there to meet Chang staff and guests.

Rojanasit Meenijacin, Assistant Director of Sports - Thai Beverage PLC said: “It’s a great privilege for all the guests to attend today. We’re very happy to get access to the legends and the team players.

“It’s a global partnership that we have been building from the start. This is the sixth year already that we are partners with Leicester City. This is a team which Thai people love, so we are glad to be a part of it.

“Jamie Vardy has been fantastic today, he’s a legend of Leicester City. Everyone is happy to get to close to him. It’s great to see Wout Faes, James Justin, Emile Heskey, Wes Morgan, Matt Elliott and Gerry Taggart and everyone else from the Club.”

The group signed autographs and posed for pictures during the session.

Taggart, a former Northern Ireland international who lifted the League Cup with City in 2000, was delighted to be involved too, signing autographs and posing for photographs.

“We’ve had a get-together with Chang, who are a valued partner of Leicester City Football Club,” the ex-Foxes defender said. “It’s been great to come down here today and to get to meet the guys who work for Chang.

“They’ve been in partnership with Leicester City for a long time and they’re well embedded into the Leicester City family. It’s been nice to meet some of them, including a football team and we gave away some prizes. They were very humbled and grateful, so it’s been a great afternoon.”
