Enzo Maresca is yet to make a decision on whether Mads Hermansen will return for Leicester City in Saturday's clash with Cardiff City, after the goalkeeper missed the last two games through injury.

- Mads Hermansen will be assessed before Saturday's match against Cardiff City
- The Leicester City goalkeeper has missed two matches with injury
- Victor Kristiansen is available for selection
- Conor Coady and Kasey McAteer remain out at present

The Foxes welcome the Bluebirds to King Power Stadium in the Sky Bet Championship. Hermansen has been absent for victories over Burton Albion and Huddersfield Town in the Carabao Cup and Championship respectively after making his debut in the opening-day win over Coventry City.

Youngster Jakub Stolarczyk has stepped up admirably in the absence of Hermansen, who is close to a return. Victor Kristiansen, on the other hand, is also available for selection after missing the start of the season.

On Hermansen, the Italian said: "We have a session this afternoon and it depends on the session and then we can take a decision.

"Victor is back, Conor Coady is still out and Kasey Mcateer is still out. They are still doing some checks. Hopefully in 10 days or two weeks he can be back."
