Back-to-back victories over Coventry City and Huddersfield Town have placed the Foxes in a positive position early on in the Sky Bet Championship campaign, which coupled with an exciting brand of football being implemented by Manager Enzo Maresca, has created a buzz around the group, according to the forward.

“Obviously it’s two wins from two, but we all know how long the season is,” Mavididi told LCFC.com earlier this week. “The gaffer is keeping our feet on the ground and keeping us disciplined because there’s a massive job to do.

The fans can push you that extra mile so hopefully we can get the three points for them.

“At the moment, the mood is good, there’s good vibes in the camp. I’m enjoying it and I think I can speak for the rest of the lads in saying that we’re all enjoying it. It’s a new way of playing, but all the lads have bought into his ideas.

“Everyone is on the same page, so I feel like we can have a lot of fun this season. Everyone’s really happy, even the lads that haven’t got as many minutes as some of the other lads so far, so everyone’s moving in the right direction.”

An uninterrupted week of work at LCFC Training Ground has allowed for further refining of the style of play that Leicester are deploying this term, with full focus on the plans being put in place for the visit of Cardiff City to King Power Stadium on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

“It’s nice,” the attacker explained. “The Championship is flooded with games, so you’ve got to use that time wisely on the training pitch and in terms of recovery as well and take each game as it comes by preparing well.

Mavididi Wins It Late At Huddersfield

Enjoy the action from John Smith's Stadium as the Foxes make it three wins from three at the start of the season.

“We know what to expect (from Cardiff) and we’re preparing for the weapons that they are going to pose for us, but we’ve got weapons and we’re mainly concentrating on ourselves. It will be nice to play at our ground and in front of our supporters.

“The fans can push you that extra mile so hopefully we can get the three points for them.”

The 25-year-old, a summer signing from Montpellier, played a key role in those early-season successes and now wants to kick on having notched his first goal in City colours against the Terriers last time out.

“Being an attacker, it was always nice to get the winner, but the most important thing is the three points,” the winger added.

“I can only thank my team-mates, the staff and everyone around the Club for making me feel as welcome as possible and helping me on as well as off the pitch. It’s been a really smooth transition.”
