Leicester City have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday's clash with Stoke City, according to Manager Enzo Maresca.

- Manager Enzo Maresca has provided an update on his Foxes playing squad
- There are no new concerns on the injury front for this weekend's outing
- He provided an update on Tom Cannon, who joined City in the summer

Callum Doyle, Dennis Praet, Kasey McAteer and Tom Cannon are currently out, but those absences have not stopped City from starting the campaign with nine wins in 10 Sky Bet Championship outings.

They go into the weekend top of the standings with one game - vs. Stoke - to go ahead of the second international break of the season. Maresca also provided an update on summer signing Cannon, who joined from Everton on Deadline Day.

I don’t think we have a big number. I think we have the right number for all the games we have.

"Fortunately, we don’t have any [new] injuries," the Foxes Manager said on Friday. "It is still the same process [with Cannon]. He’s very far from coming back with us."

Asked about the wealth of options available to him in his squad, Maresca explained how he feels his squad still faces challenges.

"But don’t forget we played in one of the last games with Hamza [Choudhury] in behind," he said.

"He’s not a defender. Also we try to balance it a little bit, with all the players. I don’t think we have a big number. I think we have the right number for all the games we have."

Saturday's game is the first leg of a double-header of matches at King Power Stadium, with LCFC Women also hosting Everton Women in the Barclays Women's Super League on Sunday (both 3pm BST kick-offs).
