- LCFC Women beaten 2-0 by Manchester United at King Power Stadium
- The Foxes sit 10th in the Barclays Women's Super League
- Manager Amandine Miquel shared her thoughts post-match
Sunday afternoon saw Leicester lose out in a Barclays Women's Super League clash at King Power Stadium, falling to a 2-0 reverse against the Red Devils who scored in either half through Elisabeth Terland and Celin Bizet.
Talking post-match, the French Manager was pleased to see attacking prowess from her side, but demands more from her side who have only scored twice in eight games this term.
"I think what's unusual is that we had more chances today then against other opponents that maybe aren't as strong defensively (as Man Utd)," Miquel stated.
"My feeling is that it was a good performance in that sense. We had more offensive situations than the last few games.
"We need to focus on what was good and maybe look at what isn't good and continue working so that when we come out on the pitch again, we're 100 per cent ready. It's the only way we can go."
Looking ahead to next weekend, the Foxes travel to Broadfield Stadium for the second time in four weeks, to face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women's League Cup.
Despite an injury-troubled squad, the former Stade de Reims Manager hinted at possible changes to the starting XI in order to try and rediscover a winning formula.
"Even though we have some injuries, we do have a big squad with players that have had less game time so it could be a chance to let them play," Miquel continued. "We need to try and spice things up and work on new ideas."
