The Bristolian, who plays internationally for Jamaica, joined the Foxes on a three-year contract after five years at Fulham, where he made a significant impact at Craven Cottage, twice winning promotion to the top flight, as champions and via the play-offs, reaching a double century of games for the Whites in the process.

The skilful winger, who primarily operates from either flank or as an inside forward, made a name for himself at Bristol City, rising through the ranks at his boyhood club to earn a first professional contract.

Highlights included reaching the semi-finals of the 2017/18 Carabao Cup, a season which saw Decordova-Reid feature in every Championship fixture – scoring 19 times and registering seven assists, his best return for the Robins.

That led to being named the club’s Player of the Year as well as earning a place in the EFL Team of the Season and in the PFA Team of the Year.

Some 158 appearances and five loan spells later, Cardiff City was the forward’s next destination in 2018, with the Bluebirds newly promoted to the Premier League.

His first top-flight experience ended with five goals, leading to a move, initially on loan, to Fulham, where the now 31-year-old finished 2020/21 as top goalscorer, netting another five times.

A consistent performer for the west Londoners, the winger’s international career took off during his stint in the capital, choosing to represent Jamaica.

Debuting in September 2019, the attacker has since featured in FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the Gold Cup and CONCACAF Nations League matches, before most recently being called up for this summer’s Copa América, captaining his country in the opening group game.

Headed into the tournament off the back of a solid season with Fulham, his eight goal contributions in 33 Premier League appearances helped Marco Silva’s side finish 13th in the table, also taking the armband on three occasions.
