The dynamic young forward arrived from fellow Barclays Women’s Super League outfit Aston Villa and made her LCFC Women bow against Brighton & Hove Albion in the WSL on 16 January 2022, coming on as a second-half substitute during the 1-0 success at King Power Stadium.
After making seven appearances for the Foxes during the second half of the 2021/22 season, the Young Lioness extended her contract and began the new campaign by assisting Connie Scofield's goal in the League Cup win at Blackburn Rovers.
Having come through the ranks at Birmingham City and then Villa as a youngster, Goodwin made her senior debut on 17 November, 2021, in the Villans’ fixture against Sheffield United in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup.
The attacker, an England youth international, represented the Under-19s in the Marbella International tournament, starting in a 2-0 success against Denmark Under-19s, before her first Under-23s call-up in October 2022.
The winger has scored four times for Leicester, first in a 5-0 win over Sunderland, before netting her first WSL goal in a record breaking 4-0 win over Liverpool in the 2022/23 season, with a last-minute header.
