Born in Wormer, Netherlands, she graduated the Ajax academy in 2017, making her senior debut in the same year in a 2-0 league win over Achilles ’29.
Continuing her development, the shot-stopper made her UEFA Women’s Champions League debut in a 2-1 win over Sparta Prague just one year later.
A full international for the Dutch Lionesses, Kop made her debut for the Netherlands in 2019, playing against Poland in the Algarve Cup, and has since made six further appearances for her country at senior international level.
Mostly recently, Kop was part of the Netherlands squad that reached the World Cup Quarter-Finals in Australia and New Zealand.
