The 19-year-old central midfielder signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at King Power Stadium following four productive years in Sweden’s top flight.
An exciting prospect, the youngster makes the move to Leicestershire as a regular Swedish youth international having made 22 appearances for the Blue and Yellow's Under-19s and 23s.
Pelgander made her league debut for KIF Örebro in July 2020 and became the first player born in 2004 to play in Damallsvenskan. She would go on to make 84 appearances for the Örebro-based outfit in all competitions during her four years with the Club.
A breakthrough 2023 season saw Pelgander make 25 appearances for KIF Örebro as her team recorded a 10th-place finish.
The midfielder made her Leicester debut on Sunday 4 February, coming on as a late substitute at Joie Stadium duing the Foxes 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Barclays Women's Super League.
