No Fresh Injuries For Chelsea Challenge, Says Rodgers

The Foxes entertain Frank Lamapard's Blues at King Power Stadium behind closed doors on Sunday in the quarter-finals of the competition, the only major domestic honour to elude the Club.
While there are still two days of preparations to go for City - hoping to reach the last-four stage for the first time since 1982 - Rodgers' squad is in good shape. Ricardo Pereira, meanwhile, continues to recover from an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained in March and is unavailable for the tie.
Speaking to the national and international media on Friday during his virtual pre-match press conference, the Northern Irishman said: "No, nothing [new to report] at the moment.
"We’re just ticking along and really looking forward to the game. There's nothing of note in terms of injuries and hopefully we can stay that way over the next day or so."
Both Leicester and Chelsea will have to contend with a congested fixture schedule over the coming weeks after the Premier League and FA Cup resumed earlier this month after a three-month break.
Tuesday's clash with Brighton & Hove Albion at King Power Stadium came just three days after a trip to Watford, while Chelsea last played as recently as Thursday night, overcoming Manchester City.
"I think we had it in the reverse the other week, when we played Saturday-Tuesday," Rodgers continued. "Both squads are strong. I’m sure he (Lampard) will hope to tap into that quality that he has.
"We’re just looking forward it. It’s a great occasion, which will unfortunately have no supporters there, which is disappointing, but we’ll do everything we can to get a win."
Adjusting to the new matchday environment, without the backing of the Blue Army, has been a challenge for the Foxes, but one they must overcome, Rodgers added.
"A lot of the preparation is the same as normal," he explained. It’s when you get to the stadium that it hits you, without that buzz.
"Especially at Leicester City, where that connection between the fans and the Club is so strong. We clearly miss them when they’re not there.
"The preparation is very much the same, though, it’s just at the stadium where it’s noticeable. We have to focus on performing well and getting the result."
