U21s Lose Out To Hull In PL Cup
Goals from Harry Vaughan and Pharell Dior Brown proved to be decisive at LCFC Training Ground, leaving Leicester's Development Squad third in Group B, on four points from four games.
Returning to PL Cup action for the first time since drawing 2-2 with Coventry City earlier this month, there were three changes to the line-up from the Vertu Trophy defeat to Notts County last time out, with Stevie Bausor, Olabade Aluko and Josh King coming in for Harry French, Joe Wormleighton and Will Alves.
The visitors took the lead 23 minutes in, however, when Will Jarvis assisted Vaughan, and the forward turned provider for the second, setting up Brown 10 minutes after the interval. That's how it stayed in Seagrave, with the Tigers claiming maximum points for the first time in the group.
A short trip to Loughborough University Stadium is next up in the competition, facing Nottingham Forest on Friday 6 December (7pm kick-off). Before then, there's Premier League 2 duties, visiting Wolverhampton Wanderers' Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground next Saturday (1pm kick-off).
