The Development Squad will once again compete in this season’s EFL Trophy after being drawn in Group H of the northern half of the competition on Tuesday afternoon.

As an invited club, the Foxes the with face teams from League One and League Two in the regional group stage as they look to build on an impressive run to the quarter-finals of last season’s competition, having beaten Grimsby Town, Sunderland, Doncaster Rovers and Tranmere Rovers along the way.
This year they’ll again face Grimsby Town, along with newly-promoted Harrogate Town as well as Hull City in Group H of the northern group stage, with fixtures due to begin next month.
