Morgan Boasts Strong Squad To Select From

LCFC Women manager Jonathan Morgan has reported no new injury concerns ahead of Sunday's trip to London City Lionesses (2pm kick-off).

- LCFC Women are back in league action against London City Lionesses this weekend
- The FA Women's Championship encounter is scheduled to be a 2pm kick-off on Sunday 1 November
- Manager Jonathan Morgan could welcome back Holly Morgan, Sam Tierney and Freya Thomas for Sunday's game at Princes Park
- Forward Hannah Cain remains the Foxes' only long-term injury concern, out with a broken foot

The clash at Princes Park sees City return to FA Women's Championship action after the latest international break, with Morgan able to welcome back several players for the game against the Lionesses.

Midfielder Freya Thomas returns to the squad alongside defenders Holly Morgan and Sam Tierney, who have progressed well in their recovery from injuries.

Foxes captain Morgan hasn't played since September, sitting out the last four matches, with Thomas and Tierney - who was stretchered off in the home win versus Liverpool earlier this month - both missing Leicester's 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace.

"Freya [Thomas] is back, she's been training all week so she'll be considered again in the squad," Morgan told LCFC.com.

Despite injury, Holly Morgan played for City during their first professional campaign, which ended with the Championship title.

"Holly [Morgan] and Sam [Tierney], they have both started training again this week. I wouldn't necessarily say they are in contention to start, but they are back in with the squad.

"It means they will be travelling with us on Sunday and it gives us a lot of options in defence, midfield and up front."

The game will come too soon for forward Hannah Cain, however, who remains out with a broken foot, while Morgan also reported on the progress of Grace Riglar, currently out on loan at third tier side West Bromwich Albion, where she has made four appearances to date.

LCFC Women's manager commented: "They are the only injuries, obviously Grace [Riglar] is doing fantastic over at West Brom after recovering from her ACL injury, she's looking sharper and sharper every day.

"There's only Hannah Cain who is the notable absentee, so as a squad we are looking very healthy at the moment and we're just looking to build on that really."
