Paige Bailey-Gayle
Paige Bailey-Gayle celebrates the goal that helped secure victory over Lewes.
The Foxes returned to winning ways in the league by defeating Lewes Women 1-0 last Sunday, with Paige Bailey-Gayle strike proving to be the difference at Farley Way Stadium.
That result, coupled with Liverpool narrow victory over Sheffield United, moved Leicester level on points with both sides, and just one behind leaders Durham.
Another victory ahead of the latest international break could see City go top of the table. They will also have one eye on Wednesday's crucial Continental Tyres League Cup group stage fixture with Birmingham City (7:30pm kick-off).
Three To Watch
Shannon O'Brien
Shannon O'Brien is mobbed by her teammates after scoring a well taken goal against London Bees.
Having come through the ranks at Aston Villa, Shannon O'Brien moved up from Under-16s football to make her senior debut for Coventry United in 2018.
The 19-year-old midfielder played 12 league games last season, scoring five times, including her maiden Championship goal to rescue a 2-2 draw away at Blackburn Rovers in October 2019.
United's No.9 opened her account for this campaign with a stunning solo effort to wrap up three points against London Bees on the opening day.
Former Sheffield United midfielder/forward Beth Merrick moved to the then FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division side during the January 2019 transfer window.
An England Under-19 forward, Merrick previously progressed through the youth ranks at Aston Villa, where she made her senior debut in 2014 at the age of 16.
She is now an integral part of United squad and scored in the 3-2 victory over Charlton Athletic earlier this season.
Forward Amber Hughes is an experienced and long serving member of the squad who helped to secure promotion into the second tier at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
She scored twice to help the Red and Green Girls to victory against Charlton in October after being joint top goalscorer in 2019/20, netting five times in her 14 league appearances.
Opposition Form Guide
Coventry United Ladies
Coventry United have endured a mixed start to the 2020/21 season.
Coventry have secured two victories from their opening six league fixtures, securing three points at home to London Bees in their opening game and away to Charlton Athletic.
Four defeats to Lewes, Liverpool, Sheffield United and Crystal Palace leave the Midlanders in ninth position, on six points, heading into Sunday's game.
The Red and Green Girls have struggled in the Continental Tyres League Cup, losing 5-2 to Durham and 9-0 to newly-promoted Women's Super League outfit Aston Villa.
They are back in Conti Cup action on Thursday 19 November, facing Sheffield United at home (7:45pm kick-off).
Last Time Out
Libby Smith
Libby Smith was on the scoresheet the last time City met Coventry United.
Coventry came out on top in the only meeting between the pair during the shortened 2019/20 season, on 24 November 2019.
Libby Smith had given the Foxes a first half lead, but a double from Amber Hughes, coupled with Helen Dermody's goal, handed the away side a victory in Quorn.
