Who’s starring on LCFC TV?

Who’s in contention to play?
Brendan Rodgers told the media during his pre-match press conference on Friday: “Everyone (from Wednesday) is available. We will hopefully have Timothy Castagne as well, which will be great news to get him back. Apart from that, the squad will be the same. Daniel Amartey may well be available as well, so both those players [returning] will be great news for us. We’ll look over that over the next 24 hours. He’s (Castagne) come through training very well. He was close for the Everton game, but we felt it would be best to keep him out and get him ready for the weekend.”
Assessing the fitness of his squad, José Mourinho told tottenhamhotspur.com: “He (Gareth Bale) trained yesterday with the team, he trained today. He looks okay so, if tomorrow he does it normally like he did in the last two days, he’s fine. No injuries (from the Liverpool game). [Japhet] Tanganga is out, of course, and [Érik] Lamela trained. I cannot say 100 per cent, but it was the first day he did a couple of exercises with us, so he’s coming to the end of his injury, but he’s not ready to play.”
What happened last time?
After the 2019/20 Premier League campaign resumed, the Foxes were beaten 3-0 by Spurs in this fixture on Sunday 19 July, 2020.
An early own goal from defender James Justin was added to by a four-minute double from former City striker Harry Kane, with all goals coming in the first half.
City’s home encounter with Spurs last term, meanwhile, saw them record a 2-1 comeback win at King Power Stadium thanks to goals from Ricardo Pereira and James Maddison.
