Fleming, 19, joined the Foxes on Thursday from Chelsea on a deal to the summer of 2022, having spent nearly a decade at the Blues.
The defensive midfielder says her switch to Leicester, who sit top of the FA Women’s Championship after 13 games, will be highly beneficial for the development of her game.
“For me, it’s a great move,” she told LCFC.com. “I’m really excited to continue my development and get some game time. I want to help the team as much I can.
“I’ve spoken to some of the girls and they seem lovely. They’re here to enjoy what they do, but also they’re a determined group that want to be successful.”
Fleming will link up with a LCFC Women side that possesses a wealth of young talent, and she feels that will assist her in settling in at only the second professional club she has played for.

“It helps massively that there are girls your age that are going through the same experiences you are in your career,” she said.
“You go through daily things with each other, and you’re the same age, so you can relate to them. Then, you can build friendships and bonds, and it makes you feel part of a team.
“I know a few of the girls through playing, and played with Libby [Smith] when we were playing together at Chelsea.
“That means I’m coming in and I’m getting to know different people and different players, finding out their strengths and weaknesses because for me, it’s a whole new team and a whole new environment.
With the momentum that this team have, it’s important for me to settle in quickly. I want to support them as much as possible, so it’s important that I’m able to come in and match that momentum.

“The girls have been welcoming and friendly and they’ve made me feel at home. I can’t wait to get started with them.”
With LCFC Women set to continue their enthralling 2020/21 campaign this weekend with a home encounter with Crystal Palace, Fleming revealed what Foxes fans can expect of her, should she be involved.
“I’m a defensive midfielder that’s calm on the ball,” she said. “I do the simple things right and I’d say that my one-on-one defending is my strength.
“I like to get my head up, and I’m a trustworthy player, so my team-mates know I’m going to do everything I can to help the team.
