Choudhury Points To Value Of Away Draw

The Foxes were required to stand strong in spells, and also had attacking opportunities of their own in the Czech capital, but had to settle for a stalemate during the first leg of their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 encounter with Jindřich Trpišovský’s outfit.
The well-drilled Czech First League side proved to be stern opposition, and midfielder Choudhury, a second-half substitute, felt Leicester’s draw in the historic city of Prague was a hard-earned one.
“It's massive,” the City No.20 told LCFC TV. “To come away in Europe, and go home with a clean sheet and a draw, it's a great result for us. We'll take these lot back to King Power Stadium and hopefully play our game there.
Choudhury Highlights Importance Of Clean Sheet
Hamza Choudhury reflected on the Foxes' 0-0 draw with Slavia Prague in the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 first leg.
“I feel like we knew that coming into the game, the gaffer definitely warned us about their strengths and how good they are and how used to winning they are.
“He said it's a very big thing that teams are used to winning, and you can't come here and just expect to get a result. So, we've seen how good they were and we'll definitely be ready for them next week.”
Choudhury says he enjoyed the midfield battle after replacing James Maddison with 14 minutes to go to make his seventh Europa League appearance for the Football Club.
“They were a very, very physical team,” he continued. “[They had] big players all over the pitch and they work really hard for each other.
“I feel like that's one of my strengths in the game and for me to come on and help the team and hold out for a 0-0 draw is a good feeling.”
When asked about playing in front of supporters for the first time this season, he added: “The best feeling. There wasn't many of them, but it makes the world of difference. It makes it feel a little bit more like football.
“Everyone before the game was buzzing, a bit giddy to start playing in front of fans again and to experience them - very loud as well. So, it was good.”
