City saw off Sheffield Wednesday Under-18s in round three, beating the Owls 5-0 courtesy of a brace apiece from Kian Pennant and Wanya Marcal-Madivadua, as well as Ethan Fitzhugh's strike.
The young Foxes then travelled to meet Exeter City Under-18s, with the hosts forcing extra-time in Devon before Pennant and Marcal-Madivadua were both on the scoresheet once more to seal a 2-1 win.
Coach Adam Barradell told LCFC.com afterwards that City will relish the opportunity of taking on another cup tie: "Ultimately, we want to go as far as we can in the cup competitions that we're in.
"Towards the end of the season, these are the games you want to be in. You want the games to come thick and fast and it's great development for the boys to have that."
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's Liverpool side, meanwhile, earned their place in the fifth round thanks to successive triumphs over Sutton United (6-0) and Manchester United (1-0).
A full report and reaction to the 7pm kick-off will be available on LCFC.com shortly after full-time on Friday evening.
