No New Concerns, Says Miquel
- LCFC Women return home for Manchester United game
- The King Power Stadium fixture has a 3pm kick-off
- Amandine Miquel provided a squad update to the media
- Both Sam Tierney (ankle) and CJ Bott (calf) are doubts
Returning to King Power Stadium for the first time in three weeks, the Manager is looking to also looking to return to winning ways when her side face Manchester United on Sunday afternoon (3pm kick-off).
Running a little thin on the ground with an extensive injury list, the former Stade de Reims Manager announced that there are no fresh issues to report on following the West Ham United defeat, while reiterating Sam Tierney's absence.
CJ Bott
CJ Bott was a second half substitute at Chigwell Construction Stadium.
"[We have] no injuries to report on, which is good considering how physical the game was last weekend," Miquel explained to the media. "Sam [Tierney] has an injury with the ankle, I can confirm, but not the time frame at this stage."
CJ Bott has been one player to miss out on the last two starting line-ups with a slight calf complaint, and the Manager confirmed that the full-back's time on the pitch has been restricted in order to get the New Zealander back to full fitness as quickly and as safely as possible.
Miquel added: "With CJ [Bott], her absence is to do with her calf, and we've been limiting her minutes, both on the pitch and at training, to make sure it doesn't worsen and she comes back to 100 per cent quicker."
