The Academy graduate made his 18th appearance of the season in all competitions as the Foxes opened a four-point gap to fourth place in the Premier League with a 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Thursday, courtesy of goals from Jamie Vardy, Jonny Evans and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Crystal Palace are next up on Filbert Way on Monday (8pm kick-off) and Thomas, 19, is keen to continue in the same manner against the Eagles.
Reflecting on that success over the Baggies on Thursday, Leicester's 18th league win of the season, Thomas told LCFC TV: "Every opportunity I get is an honour and I continue to do what I can do in training and hopefully I’ll get more chances.
"It was a game where we came out the blocks fast and have gone into a 3-0 lead before half-time, which is always going to be a positive, going into the second half. I feel like, in the second half, we kept the ball well and we killed the game off. It was a great performance from us.
The confidence is great. Obviously, getting to the FA Cup Final is brilliant, but we’ve got games before that. We’re focusing on the Premier League and the gaffer made that clear after the game in the FA Cup. We’re focusing game by game.

"In the first half, we weren’t the sharpest in possession, even though we went 3-0 up, so the gaffer made that clear at half-time and, in that second half, we played them off the park."
City's flowing football was on show for all to see in their opener on Thursday as Youri Tielemans threaded a perfect pass through to Timothy Castagne, who located Vardy to score his 15th goal of the season.
"That was a great goal!" Thomas reflected. "The pass from Youri was unbelievable and Jamie’s finishing is always going to be unbelievable. He’s going to score whenever he gets his chances. It was a great performance.
"The confidence is great. Obviously, getting to the FA Cup Final is brilliant, but we’ve got games before that. We’re focusing on the Premier League and the gaffer made that clear after the game in the FA Cup. We’re focusing game by game."
Looking ahead to the challenges to come, the Syston-born full-back continued: "We’re still in the Premier League and we’ve still got things to challenge for, so we’ll go game by game and hopefully we can get the results we want.
"It’s always great to get a win. We go into each game wanting to win so we try our best and hopefully get the performance and get as many points as we can.
"It’s getting towards the end of the season now and there’s so many games still. You only get a four-day break, so we go again and hopefully, on Monday, we can get what we want to.
"That’s the best thing in football, playing as many games as you can get, and this season’s brilliant for us because we’ve been in so many competitions and we’ve had a game every three days apart from in the last two months or so.
"It’s been great for us to get that many games under our belt this season. It’s going so well so far so hopefully we can continue that towards the end of the season."
