The Essentials: A Supporters' Guide To The Emirates FA Cup Final

The historic occasion beneath the world-famous arch at the national stadium will be City's fifth appearance in the FA Cup showpiece, although the Club is yet to lift the iconic trophy.

Saturday's cup final is available on terrestrial TV via BBC One.

Supporters based in the United Kingdom can watch the action unfold on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer (starting at 4:15pm), as well as BT Sport 1 and on the BT Sport app (starting at 3pm).

Leicester City supporters can follow live and free coverage of the Club's Emirates FA Cup Final clash with Chelsea on LCFC TV and LCFC Radio!

Ahead of that exciting appearance at the national stadium, Matchday Live begins from 3:45pm on Saturday with Dan Bates being joined by Gerry Taggart and Tony Cottee - both winners of the League Cup with Leicester - for 90 minutes of pre-match conversation.

As well as talking you through all the biggest talking points ahead of kick-off, we'll also bring you confirmed team news from Wembley and a host of exclusive interviews from inside the Foxes camp as the big match looms. Matt Elliott, meanwhile, will be in position pitchside at Wembley to talk through the clash.

Then, from approximately 5:05pm, live commentary begins with Elliott - who lifted the League Cup trophy at the national stadium 21 years ago - positioned alongside Chris Parrott in the press box to provide live and uninterrupted coverage of the game itself. 

Following full-time, Cottee, Elliott and Taggart will reflect on and analyse the action for another half an hour, taking the broadcast to over four hours.

Foxes fans will be in attendance in their thousands to witness the Club's fifth final appearance in the FA Cup.

Leicester City’s ticket allocation for the Emirates FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium against Chelsea on Saturday has now sold out after an additional batch of 450 tickets were made available to Season Ticket Holders with 302+ Away Priority Points.

Please use the following checklist to make sure you have what you need before leaving:

- Print-at-home match ticket
- Negative lateral flow test result (by SMS or email)
- Photo ID
- Coach booking confirmation (if travelling by coach)
- Face covering (both for coach and for ALL in the stadium, unless exempt)

Any supporters without any of the above will not be given access to Wembley Stadium for the match.

Michael Oliver was promoted to the UEFA Elite Group of Referees in 2018.

Michael Oliver will be the referee at Wembley Stadium, assisted by Stuart Burt and Simon Bennett, while Paul Tierney has been appointed as the fourth official. The VAR (Video Assistant Referee) will be Chris Kavanagh, assisted by Sian Massey-Ellis.

Kelechi Iheanacho is congratulated by his Foxes team-mates after scoring the winner against Southampton at Wembley Stadium.

James Justin, Marc Albrighton, Ayoze Pérez and Harvey Barnes found the net in a 4-0 win at Stoke City in the third round, before further progress was made at Brentford, with Cengiz Ünder, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison on the scoresheet in a 3-1 victory in the capital.

Kelechi Iheanacho's last-gasp header defeated Brighton & Hove Albion at King Power Stadium in the fifth round, while the Nigerian netted a brace, adding to Tielemans' solitary effort, in a 3-1 triumph over Manchester United on Filbert Way in the quarter-finals.

In the semi-final, meanwhile, Iheanacho was at it again with a close-range strike at the second attempt to beat Southampton 1-0 at Wembley Stadium.

Wilfred Ndidi and James Maddison were the heroes for the Foxes as Brendan Rodgers' men briefly touched the Premier League summit with a 2-0 success over Frank Lampard's Chelsea at King Power Stadium on 19 January.

Leicester have only suffered one defeat against the Blues in their last six meetings, although that came in the quarter-finals of the 2019/20 FA Cup. Overall, Chelsea hold a considerable advantage in the historic head-to-head record, winning 57 clashes, while City have prevailed 27 times in all.
