Leicester City To Join Leicester Pride Celebrations This Weekend

Leicester City will celebrate Leicester Pride on Saturday 4 September to raise awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion in our community.

- Leicester Pride to take place on Saturday 4 September
- Event is Leicester’s annual LGBTQ+ festival, celebrating equality and diversity 
- Supporters are encouraged to join Foxes Pride for the Parade through the city centre

The Football Club will be supporting the event for the sixth consecutive year, with mascot Filbert Fox joining in with the activities at Victoria Park. An LCFC market stall will also be on-site on the day.

Members of the Blue Army are encouraged to join Foxes Pride – the Club’s LGBTQ+ supporter group – for the parade through the city centre at midday.

The parade will leave the Curve Theatre and pass through the city on its way to the festival site at Victoria Park.

Parade timings

Meet at Curve Theatre – 11:30am
Parade starts – 12pm
Parade arrives at Victoria Park – 12:45pm/1pm

Leicester Pride is Leicester’s annual LGBTQ+ festival, held at the beginning of September each year. The event is free to attend and celebrates equality and diversity in our community.

The festival is a family event with entertainment and attractions suitable for all ages. There will be a variety of food and drink available and plenty to see and buy in the market stalls area. A selection of fairground rides and games are also provided.
