Tielemans Captains Belgium & Vestergaard Scores For Denmark

Tielemans, on his 48th appearance for the Red Devils, played from start to finish as Roberto Martínez’s side drew with Stephen Kenny’s outfit at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Michy Batshuayi got Belgium off to a positive start after netting on 12 minutes, however Chiedozie Ogbene restored parity before the interval.

The visitors were back in front when Hans Vanaken, creator of the opening goal, was on target just before the hour mark, before Alan Browne levelled matters with five minutes to play.
Later on in the evening, in another international friendly, this time at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, Kasper Schmeichel and Vestergaard both started against the Netherlands, with the latter scoring his first international goal for over six years.

City’s No.23 replied to a Steven Bergwijn strike, however Nathan Aké put the hosts ahead once more before Memphis Depay’s penalty handed the Dutch a 3-1 lead at the interval.
Christian Eriksen gave the Danes hope of a comeback when he found the net just three minutes after being introduced from the bench, however Bergwijn was on the scoresheet again to secure a 4-2 triumph for the Netherlands.
