On Wednesday, meanwhile, small-sided games inside the dome were followed by appearances from first team players Hannah Cain and Ashleigh Plumptre, who delighted the participants by taking part in a Q&A session.
The youngsters had the chance to pose questions to the duo, who then stayed to sign autographs and have photos with the children, before watching some of them in action on the pitch.

There was plenty of time to impress the players with questions.
Speaking to LCFC TV at the event, Cain said: “Some of the questions that they asked were interesting, I’ve really enjoyed it. It helps massively inspiring younger kids these days. You can see they are buzzing from the smiles on their faces.”
Plumptre added: “They had some really good questions considering that they are so young! You can tell that they have been thinking about it. To see this many girls on a summer camp is great and a few boys joining in as well. The boys all knew about women’s football, which, a couple of years ago I don’t know if that would have been the case, so it’s really good.”
