Previewing The Foxes Trip To West Ham
Heading into this gameweek, Leicester remain in 12th position still looking to get their first points on the board, while West Ham sit eighth with nine points from their opening seven games.
Keep reading for a full-detailed look at both sides, and all the match information ahead of City’s trip to London on Sunday...

Prior to last week’s international break, the Foxes welcomed an Arsenal side with a 100 per cent league record to King Power Stadium.
A tough first fixture for new manager Willie Kirk left Leicester on the reverse of a 4-0 scoreline, with Frida Maanum, Caitlin Foord and Steph Catley all scoring first-half goals, before Stina Blackstenius added one in the second.
After an important learning opportunity for Kirk and his side, Leicester will be hoping to turn fortunes around as they look to take points off the Londoners this weekend.

Cementing a mid-table finish at the end of the last campaign, West Ham started this season with a 1-0 home win against Everton, with Lisa Evans netting the only goal of the match.
Since then, the Hammers have picked up two more wins and four defeats, the most recent of which came at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion, as West Ham fell the wrong side of a nine-goal thriller, scoring four at Chigwell Construction Stadium two weeks ago.
Viviane Asseyi and Dagny Brynjarsdottir remain the top scorers for this weekend’s home side with four goals apiece. As West Ham look to start pushing further up the table, the travelling Foxes must be wary of the danger this duo possess.
In the dugout
Paul Konchesky

City fans will remember Paul Konchesky from his playing days on Filbert Way, but now the former defender is currently seeing out his first season as manager of West Ham Women.
Taking charge in May of this year, the 41-year-old took the reins following the departure of Olli Harder, whom Konchesky was assistant to, before signing a two-year contract as manager.
With the ambition of building on the solid foundations created by his predecessor, Konchesky will be hoping to propel his team towards the top half of the table come the end of May.
Last time out
Ashleigh Plumptre

In the 2021/22 WSL season, both sides took a victory against the other. West Ham claimed a 4-0 win in September of last year before the Foxes picked up three points in a 3-0 outing at Pirelli Stadium in the return fixture.
Early goals in that match from Natasha Flint and Ashleigh Plumptre were accompanied by a second-half strike from Freya Gregory, who now features for Aston Villa.
