Following a 4-0 home defeat at the hands of Arsenal a couple of weeks ago, the Foxes are back on the road as they attempt to pick up their first points of the season this Sunday at Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Ahead of the fixture, Jones shared her thoughts on the squad’s morale: “It’s been a difficult season so far, we’ve conceded points where it’s tough in the final moments of the game, a lack of concentration maybe.
“But it’s tough for me sitting here because I know week in week out what we do on the training pitch, and we deserve more. So overall it’s been frustrating but I’m really looking forward to seeing what this team must bring moving forwards.
Coming in every day, giving it our all and working hard – that’s all we can do.

“It’s frustrating to lose points at the end of games. But for us it’s about sticking together and trusting in our abilities and the belief that it will come. We have got the foundations there and it’s just about building on that.”
It’s hard to escape the reality of City’s current league position, but Jones insists the players are confident of picking up the necessary points.
She added: “Of course, it’s difficult (being sat bottom of the league). Pressure is a good thing, and I know that the personalities we’ve got in the team can thrive.
“We’ve had a tough run of games with Arsenal and Man City and going into West Ham I know they’re a good team, but I truly believe that we can get something from it. Deep down, I know we’ve got enough in this team to do what we need to do to stay up.
“It’s important to stick together. Training has been very good, and everyone is in good spirits so hopefully we take that into Sunday. We’ve got to continue working hard, because I know the work we’ve been putting in as players has been top-class, and it’s about trusting that it will come.”

On loan from the Manchester United Women, Jones is adjusting to life in the East Midlands and is thankful for the opportunity to develop her football abilities at Leicester.
She explained: “I’ve really enjoyed my time here; it’s been a bit of an adjustment being in a new city. But the girls have been great, welcoming me in and I’ve really enjoyed myself.
“The biggest change for me has been life outside of football. When I moved to Manchester, I was quite young, so now, coming in and living in my own place has been the biggest change.
“I knew the Club had big ambitions. What I heard was good and I know the backing they’ve got and journey they’ve had. The facilities are unreal, arguably the best in the league, so I think all the attraction was there and I was drawn straight away.
“I’m really pleased with how I’m developing. As footballers, anything can change and being at a club like Manchester United, you know the high-pressure situations that you’re in, and I think I knew that from the moment I signed for them.
“Coming here was a great opportunity for growth and this Club is giving me opportunities so I’m happy here. Coming in every day, giving it our all and working hard – that’s all we can do.”
