Leicester City welcome the Magpies to Filbert Way for a Boxing Day battle which signals the resumption of the Premier League following the FIFA World Cup.

Both sides came through their first game back with flying colours by progressing into the Carabao Cup last eight on Tuesday night. The Foxes beat MK Dons, while Newcastle overcame AFC Bournemouth.  

With Matchday Live starting at 2pm on 26 December, an hour before the 3pm kick-off, supporters can take in all of the pre-match build-up in the company of studio guests Gerry Taggart and Steve Guppy.

The pair of former City stars, who both featured for the Club during an era of success under Martin O'Neill in the late 1990s, will join presenter Dan Bates for analysis and debate. 

In the pressbox at King Power Stadium, meanwhile, another Foxes favourite, Matt Elliott, will be alongside commentator James Fielden to talk through all the action as it happens across the 90 minutes and beyond.
