The Foxes were on the reverse of a 6-0 scoreline to Chelsea last time out.

City haven't been home since their 4-0 emphatic win over Liverpool last month, and have more recently been defeated twice in London by title challengers Arsenal and Chelsea respectively, losing out 1-0 to the Gunners before Emma Hayes' side ran out heavy victors at Kingsmeadow.

On the player front, the Foxes were boosted by the return of forward Shannon O'Brien, who came on to feature for the last 15 minutes against Chelsea, while Leicester fans will be hopeful that central defenders Sophie Howard and Ashleigh Plumptre can return to the squad after Willie Kirk confirmed a slight knock for both players.

Sunday's match can not be underestimated by the City camp as a win on home soil, against a team that hasn't seen a win in nine games, could secure their WSL status for another season if Reading were to fail to beat Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday's opponents are sat comfortably in eighth position in the WSL, with 17 points so far this season. The Hammers arrive to the Midlands on the back of a midweek defeat to Chelsea, as three second half goals resulted in the Irons losing 4-0 in their penultimate game at Chigwell Construction Stadium.

West Ham started the season in great fashion, dispatching Everton 1-0 before following that up with wins against Aston Villa, Reading and Tottenham before the turn of the new year. However, this run of form has somewhat halted and the London outfit have failed to secure a league win since 11 December.

Viviane Asseyi tops the charts for both goals and assists this campaign for the Hammers, with nine goal involvements in total, and the travelling Londoners will be hoping their French forward will be on form as the season draws to a close.

Paul Konchesky played for Leicester City between 2011-2016.

Former Fox, Paul Konchesky has been the manager of West Ham since May of last year, and has mixed feelings of his first season in charge. Winning seven of the first 12 games of the season in all competitions, brought hope of a higher-placed finish to last campaign's sixth-placed result, but losing momentum after the Christmas break has left them feeling relief to the ever-nearing end of the season.

Many Leicester fans will remember the defender for being part of the squad that gained promotion to the Premier League after clinching the Championship title in 2013/14. Having played 500 times in his playing career, Konchesky started his coaching career at the Academy setup within West Ham, where he stayed from 2017-21.

In the reverse fixture this season, the Foxes were beaten narrowly 1-0 at the home of Dagenham & Redbridge. An 88th minute goal from Isibeal Atkinson settled the scoreline, despite City's late bombardment which did see Plumptre put the ball in the back of the net, but was cancelled out for offside.

Last season, both sides took three points off each other, West Ham first of all in September when they beat Leicester 4-0 before City were victorious 3-0 at Pirelli Stadium in February. Natasha Flint and Plumptre giving the Foxes a 2-0 lead within nine minutes before Freya Gregory confirmed the win early on in the second half.
