LCFC Women forward Lena Petermann has been nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award for October.

The German forward – who notched two goals and recorded one assist in four league fixtures – receives her nomination after a number of impressive displays during the month.
Results across the month saw her team record a 4-2 victory against Bristol City at Ashton Gate before securing a second league win of the campaign with a 1-0 triumph over Everton at King Power Stadium.
The positive start continued with victory over Liverpool in the Continental Tyres League Cup, prior to picking up a point in a 1-1 draw at Manchester United.
Petermann faces competition from Arsenal defender Katie McCabe, Manchester City goalkeeper Khiara Keating, Brighton & Hove Albion striker Elisabeth Terland, Tottenham Hotspur's Martha Thomas and Chelsea’s Niamh Charles.
