The Foxes will be looking to remain top of the Sky Bet Championship with a 16th win of the season over Steven Schumacher's Argyle on Filbert Way.

There are no major concerns in the City squad ahead of that clash, but Maresca revealed on Friday that the Club's medical staff are monitoring a few 'doubts' for the game.

Callum Doyle, on the other hand, is continuing his return from injury but Saturday's match will come too soon for his first appearance since 23 September.

"We have some doubts, nothing serious," the Manager told the media. "We’ll use today’s session to verify but I think we're going to be alright."

When Ricardo is not playing, we are using Hamza there. Probably it will be Hamza. When Hamza played in that position [before] he did very well. We can use him.

"[Doyle] has started to do some sessions outside, but not with us. He still needs time but he’s progressing very good."

Ricardo Pereira, meanwhile, will miss the encounter with Plymouth after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in last week's win at West Bromwich Albion.

Academy graduate Hamza Choudhury is one candidate to step into the Portuguese's position in his absence.

"When Ricardo is not playing, we are using Hamza there," Maresca added. "Probably it will be Hamza. When Hamza played in that position [before] he did very well. We can use him.

"In Ricardo’s case, he is the profile that he can do that. He is able to move in small spaces. Hamza probably gives us something different in terms of strength compared to Ricardo.

"Both of them are doing very well. The big difference is when you receive the ball, as a full-back, there is much more space, there are less people around you.

"When you are in the middle, there are less spaces and more players around you, so you need to be able to move in the right way.

"It’s a process for them because it’s something new. They are doing very well."
