The Foxes have won three of the four games in 2024, losing only once, against Aston Villa at Pirelli Stadium, but have claimed victory against Derby County in the Adobe Women's FA Cup, before a double over Everton in two different competitions.
City put five past the Toffees in Burton last Wednesday but were ultimately eliminated from the Continental Tyres League Cup, before picking up their third WSL win of the term in a close 1-0 encounter.
Willie Kirk and his backroom staff have been busy in the transfer market, adding Japanese duo Saori Takarada and Yuka Momiki to the Club's ranks, while Tottenham loanee Asmita Ale and Swedish prodigy Emilia Pelgander await their debuts for the Club.
The opposition
Khadija Shaw
Khadija Shaw scored goal number 13 of the season against Spurs.
Man City sit second in the WSL, three points behind current champions Chelsea after 12 games. They have won nine times, drawn once and have only been beaten twice; defeated 1-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion at home in November.
Still involved in all three competitions this season, the Citizens beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 away from home in the last round of league fixtures, as Khadija Shaw netted her 13th goal of the campaign.
The Manchester outfit have also been busy in the window, recruiting Poppy Pritchard, Tara O'Hanlon and promising 20-year-old midfielder Laura Blindkilde Brown, while Julie Blakstad and Deyna Castellanos departed.
In the dugout
Gareth Taylor
Gareth Taylor be will chasing WSL silverware this season.
Former Welsh international Gareth Taylor has been in charge of Man City Women since May 2020, and has recorded an impressive 72 per cent win percentage from his 123 games in charge.
He has lifted two trophies during his time in Manchester, winning the FA Cup during the 2019/20 season, before clinching the League Cup two years later, beating Chelsea 3-1 in the final at the home of AFC Wimbledon.

Leicester lost 1-0 in the reverse fixture this season.
The Foxes have only come close to victory once in their last 10 meetings with Man City, but that positive result came on their last visit to Joie Stadium, when goalkeeper heroics from Janina Leitzig saw City claim a penalty shootout triumph in the League Cup.
In the reverse fixture this season, it was a close affair at King Power Stadium as an early strike from Chloe Kelly was enough to settle the contest.
