‘We’ve A Job To Do’ - Choudhury Talks Robins Challenge

The Foxes return to Sky Bet Championship action at the Robins’ home, Ashton Gate, as the promotion challenge resumes over the Easter weekend. With a trip to the South West on the horizon, Choudhury previewed a fourth consecutive away game for Enzo Maresca’s men, either side of the international window.
“I’m expecting a high-intensity game,” the midfielder said this week. “It’s not an easy place to go to, they’re a good side and they play high-intensity football. We know what to expect but we’ve got a job to do.
“We’ve got total belief in ourselves, the Manager and what we can achieve. We’re going out full of confidence to get back on the winning track. We’ve had so many games this year and this little break has split it up for us.
“We’re used to being on the road a lot and that comes with the job. I don’t think it’s affecting us at all because we’re used to it and this little break has given us the chance to recover and go again.”
Entering a crucial moment of the campaign, having taken four points from their last two league matches, the Academy graduate feels City have recovered well from recent setbacks which threatened to derail what has been an impressive season.
Vardy Seals Success Over Bristol City

“It’s been very enjoyable but also very intense,” the 26-year-old reflected. “The Championship always is every year but this season, the quality of the competition has made it very intense and tough at times.
“But especially for us, we’re enjoying the pressure and the run of games. We’re enjoying the style of football as well so we’re all thriving and now we just have one last push to get it across the line.
“I think it’s impossible to go throughout the whole season without a difficult spell. Other teams have had them earlier on in the season and we’ve had ours now. I don’t think it’s a bad time but now we’ve got to get back on track.
“It wasn’t a great result against Chelsea, but a good performance and we’re excited for the last nine games.”
