Leicester City’s Development Squad has been bolstered by the arrival of midfielder Kristian Scott on a free transfer from Swansea City.
The highly-rated 19-year-old USA youth international will provide competition for the likes of Michael Cain and Jak McCourt in the Development Squad set-up, as they look to build on last season’s success in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League.
A skilful midfielder with an excellent range of passing, Scott joined the Swans last summer following previous spells with the youth sides of Stoke City and hometown club Bristol City.
He will join up with Steve Beaglehole’s squad this week as they continue their preparations for their next Barclays Under-21 Premier League match against Fulham on 15 September.
