Leicester City’s young Development Squad defender Hervé Pepe-Ngoma has extended his loan with Evo-Stik Southern side Corby Town until the end of April.
The 18-year-old initially joined on a one-month loan back in January, and has impressed already in his short time at Steel Park – most recently playing 90 minutes in a 3-0 win over Frome Town. That helped close the gap between Corby and league leaders Poole Town to just four points, and Ngoma will be keen to be involved again on Wednesday evening for another home clash against Biggleswade Town.
The talented centre half stepped up to Steve Beaglehole’s Under-21s group this term after a hugely impressive campaign with the Under-18s in 2013/14, which ended with him securing the Academy Player of the Year award.
