18 Foxes Set For International Action
As well as a first call-up for defender Harry Maguire, Jamie Vardy has been named in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovakia.
Compatriots Demarai Gray and Ben Chilwell, meanwhile, have been called up for UEFA Under 21 EURO qualifiers in the Netherlands and at Vitality Stadium verses Latvia.
After the U19s were crowned as European champions last month, Darnell Johnson completes the Club’s English involvement with U20s matches against Holland and Switzerland.

Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani will hope to respectfully earn their 31st and 53rd Algeria caps in a World Cup qualifier with Zambia across the first week of September.
Nigerian trio Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa, on the other hand, also face two qualification matches for next summer’s showpiece against Cameroon.
Shot-stopper Kasper Schmeichel, the Danish Footballer of the Year, is likely to be called upon for quick-fire Denmark fixtures with Poland (home) and Armenia (away).
Fresh from scoring against Arsenal and Brighton and Hove Albion, Shinji Okazaki’s Japan take on Australia and Saudi Arabia, aiming to remain top of the Asian Group B standings.

Midfield colleague Daniel Amartey, who occasionally plays in defence for his country, will also be hopeful of appearing for Ghana across both legs of their tie against Congo.
As well as Johnson’s call-up for the England U20s, a further four players from the Club’s Development Squad may also earn experience on the international stage.
Danish goalkeeper Daniel Iversen has been selected in the U20s squad to tackle clashes with the Faroe Islands and Lithuania while Faiq Bolkiah could appear for Brunei at the Southeast Asian Sea Games.
Finally, George Thomas and Academy Player of the Season Alex Pascanu are named in the Wales U21s and Romania U21s contingents for their respective upcoming Under 21 EURO qualifiers.
