Confidence High For King
- Andy King wants Leicester City to kick on in the Premier League when they head to Bournemouth on Saturday
- The midfielder says the Foxes squad is highly-competitive this term
- King was delighted to see Academy youngster Hamza Choudhury make his first team debut against Liverpool last week
While they have been beaten four times in 2017/18, those defeats have come against Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Frustrated that the Foxes haven't got anything out of those games, King, 28, believes that his side can use that disappointment as a catalyst for success this weekend against Bournemouth.
"It's almost making it worse that we've been playing well and not really getting anything from it," King told LCFC TV.
"It's time to turn those performances into results and if it means not playing so well and getting a result like we did against Huddersfield then so be it.
King Looks Ahead To Bournemouth Fixture
Foxes midfielder Andy King sat down with LCFC TV to discuss City's upcoming Premier League clash against the Cherries at Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
"It's about points on the board but it's reassuring to know that the performances are there, confidence in the group is high and we know that we can hopefully kick on now."
King has featured in four of City's six Premier League fixtures so far this campaign but knows he must remain consistent in order to maintain his spot in Craig Shakespeare's starting XI.
He continued: "When you've got a squad of 25 players in any Premier League club, all of them want to play and feel like they should be.
"You need to push each other in training and know that when you do get your chance to play, you have to try and play to your maximum so that you get to keep your shirt."

King looks to pick out a man in training.
City's No.10 has played alongside Wilfred Ndidi in both the Premier League and Carabao Cup this season and has been impressed with the impact the midfielder has made since joining from Genk last December.
"He's an unbelievable athlete and the way he gets around the pitch, his spring is brilliant," King continued.
"He's learning the game and he's young, which people need to remember, but he's doing a really good job."
Another young midfielder in City's ranks, Hamza Choudhury, made his debut for the Foxes during the 2-0 Carabao Cup triumph over Liverpool last week and for King, that is a sign of how much talent the Academy graduate possesses.

King said: "I've known Hamza for a long time now and I think he's always been one who the Club have thought had a good chance of playing here.
"It's a great testament to him because he's been out on loan a couple of times to gain experience rather than staying in the bubble of being at Leicester.
"He's gone and experienced league football for himself. I was delighted to see him come on because he's a good guy. He's got a good attitude.
"Not only is he a good player but he works hard and keeps his feet on the ground. Hopefully he can kick on now and carve out a good career for himself."
