Betting Preview: Leicester City vs Everton
The Foxes secured a useful 2-1 win against Swansea City last weekend and followed that with a 3-1 victory over Leeds United to seal their place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
Everton, meanwhile, sit in the relegation zone having won just one top-flight game since the opening day, but they will still pose a considerable threat for City.
Here are some matchday betting tips from your official betting partner, Ladbrokes.
Nailed On...
Leicester haven’t lost at King Power Stadium to any side outside the big six since last December. They’ve also only lost one of their last eight home games against the Toffees.
Factor in the new manager bounce and a 21/20 home win looks a good bet. There have been at least two goals in all but one of Leicester’s games this term.
Only two of Everton’s games haven’t produced at least two goals as well. Over 2.5 goals looks like another decent shout at 10/11.
Smart Money...
Jamie Vardy hasn’t scored in his last three league outings but he could find joy against Everton. The striker is 11/8 to score anytime.
The away side have only scored two goals on the road in the league so far this season. City to win to nil is tempting at 13/5.
Long Shots...
If Everton do manage to take the lead, Leicester to win from behind is a 10/1. Remember, Everton went 1-0 up against Arsenal before losing out last weekend.
The arrival of a new manager could bring the best out of Riyad Mahrez. He’s 15/2 as first goalscorer.
