Puel: West Ham Clash Crucial

- The French boss wants to see an ambitious approach from his side in the capital
- Puel backs David Moyes to be a success at London Stadium - after Friday's encounter
The Frenchman has been buoyed by what he has seen from his Foxes squad since joining the Club last month and, despite a 2-0 defeat by leaders Manchester City on Saturday, they are a side in good form.
Losing just one of their last seven outings in all competitions, City head into Friday’s clash with confidence, although Puel knows West Ham will carry an attacking threat in the capital.
Puel Looks Ahead To Hammers Test
Claude Puel spoke to the media on Wednesday ahead of the trip to face West Ham United.
“It could be a crucial game,” he told the national media on Wednesday afternoon. “After our loss against Manchester City, we must come back with a good ambition and we know it will be a difficult game.
“They have changed their manager, a bit like Everton when we played them. It is a new difficulty for us because we know their players but they have played just one game with their new manager.
“We hope we can play with conviction and we will see what system they play. The important thing is to stay focused and show good concentration to get, I hope, a good result.
It will be a strong game and it is important to keep focus to play this game. It’s a difficult game for them but also for us.

“It is about keeping concentration in our game. We know some players of this team but the most important thing is to think about our understanding on the pitch and to play good football.
“I want to see a good control of the game and to put in place a good ambition.”
Puel also backed David Moyes to succeed after he replaced Slaven Bilić earlier this month. The City boss, though, says that affinity will be temporarily suspended over 90 minutes on Friday night.
“He is a good manager and a good man,” Puel added. “I know him from last season with Sunderland. Before and after the games [last season], we would talk often. It was a good feeling with him.
“After our game, I hope success for him and for his team… just not on Friday. West Ham fans want a reaction, we know this team at home with a new manager will be difficult.
“We want to show good qualities. When a new manager arrives, it is always a positive for players to show their qualities and to try to win their place.
“It will be a strong game and it is important to keep focus to play this game. It’s a difficult game for them but also for us.”
