- Midfielder Callum Wright has signed for Leicester City from Blackburn Rovers

- Wright has signed a professional contract with the Club until 2021
The 17-year-old central midfielder joins the Club after scoring four goals in 10 appearances for Blackburn’s Under-23s squad this season.
After rising through the youth ranks at Tranmere Rovers and Everton, Wright moved to Ewood Park in 2015 and he agreed a two-year scholarship with the Lancashire club a year later.
During his maiden season at Under-18s level, Wright made 24 appearances, scoring three times, and he was rewarded with a promotion to the Under-23 side last summer.
With goals against Fulham, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough this term, Wright has earned a reputation as one of the country’s most exciting midfield talents.
