Morgan: One Game At A Time

City reached the quarter-finals of the Emirates FA Cup on Friday night with a 1-0 victory over Sheffield United and they remain in a healthy position in the Premier League table.
But Morgan, 34, insists that his colleagues, who fell to defeat at leaders Manchester City last time out in the league, are taking one game at a time and will evaluate their success at the end of the season.
“It was very disappointing day for us and, even though we came up against probably the best team in the Premier League this season, we still expect better of ourselves,” he said.

“It’s about putting that behind us and the only way we can do that is by getting a positive result in our next game against Stoke and we want to show what we can do.”
City are currently eighth in the Premier League table, a solitary point behind Burnley, and Morgan says their chances of moving higher up in the standings will be aided by remaining calm.
All we can do is our job, keep winning games, keep picking up points because there are not many games left between now and May.

“It’s pretty tight and we don’t want to look too far ahead,” he added. “We’ll keep going as we are, we’ll keep picking up points and we’ll see where we are at the end of the season.
