Musa Scores As Four Foxes Appear On Loan
- Four Leicester City loan stars appear for their adopted clubs over a seven-day period
- Ahmed Musa scores for CSKA Moscow as the Russian outfit defeat Lyon in the UEFA Europa League
- Foxes striker Leonardo Ulloa started for Brighton and Hove Albion in the Emirates FA Cup
- Callum Elder played the full game as Wigan Athletic lost 2-0 to Premier League side Southampton
Last Thursday, Musa, 25, found the net as CSKA Moscow defeated Olympique Lyonnais 3-2 at Groupama Stadium to set up a UEFA Europa League Quarter-Final tie against Arsenal.
Aleksandr Golovin opened the scoring for CSKA, who trailed 1-0 on aggregate before kick-off, as Musa and Pontus Wembloom struck later in the second half in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
CSKA will travel to Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal in the last-eight on Thursday 5 April before later hosting the Gunners in Moscow on Thursday 12 April (both 8:05pm kick-offs).
Leonardo Ulloa
Ulloa caused United problems in the final third.
Ulloa, meanwhile, appeared for 76 minutes at Old Trafford as Brighton and Hove Albion lost 2-0 against Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday night.
Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic scored either side of half-time for José Mourinho's men to deny Ulloa and his Seagulls team-mates a place in the last-four of the prestigious competition.
Australian full back Elder, too, featured in the FA Cup, for Sky Bet League 1 Wigan Athletic. Like Ulloa, it was ultimately a frustrating outing as Southampton ran out 2-0 victors at DW Stadium.
Callum Elder
Elder has impressed for Wigan in the FA Cup this season.
Andy King, on the other hand, was cup-tied for Swansea City's 3-0 home loss to Tottenham Hotspur after appearing for the Foxes against Fleetwood Town earlier this year.
Elsewhere, young striker Uche Rubio, was on the losing side as Real Bétis B suffered a narrow 1-0 Segunda División defeat by Marbella after being reduced to 10 men in the second half.
Bartosz Kapustka and Nampalys Mendy did not appear as SC Freiburg and OGC Nice both lost at the weekend while Islam Slimani continues to recover from a thigh injury.
Finally, Elliott Moore could play a key role for OH Leuven as the Belgian Proximus League outfit prepare for the Play-Off 2 stage of their season with a warm weather training camp in Portugal.
