LCFC Chairman Marks Birthday With Teddy Bear's Picnic Party
Three of Leicester City's first team players took a trip to Leicester Royal Infirmary for some fun and games to celebrate the Chairman's birthday.
Speaking while helping a group of youngsters paint pictures of Filbert Fox, City stopper Schmeichel said: “Anything we can do to help is something that we should be doing a lot more of. I always enjoy coming out and seeing the kids in particular. Kids parties are good fun! These kids are very creative so it’s very fun to see.”
Leicester striker Iheanacho added: “It was lovely. Whenever you’re with the kids you’re happy, you play with them, paint with them and feel loved. Kids are the most important people in the world.”
Kelechi’s international team-mate Ndidi echoed those sentiments on a memorable afternoon, saying: “You can see the children are happy, they are taking pictures and painting together. I feel it’s a great step for everybody.”

Debbie Adlerstein, Head of Business Development for Leicester Hospitals Charity said: “We invited long-term patients who come regularly to the hospital for a little treat. They all had such a lovely time and were so excited.
“I think the most important thing is that they came to the hospital for a party, not to have treatments and not to have people look at them or anything scary – it was sheer fun.”
