Demarai Gray’s excellent effort and an own goal from Conor Coady saw the Foxes recover from a two-goal deficit, only for Diogo Jota to make it 3-2 to the hosts on 64 minutes.
Skipper Wes Morgan looked to have rescued a point for City with three minutes to play, but Jota’s hat-trick strike secured the triumph for Nuno Espírito Santo’s men.
