The 29-year-old has been a regular in the Barclays Women’s Super League for Spurs since their promotion as quadruple winners in the 2016/2017 season.
Green was made captain of the side in the summer of 2020 and made a total of 15 appearances for Spurs last season – scoring once and helping the team to a fifth-place finish in the WSL.
Prior to joining the North London outfit, Green progressed through the youth ranks of Watford, making her senior debut for the Hornets during the 2010/11 FA Women's National League season.
At international level, Green represents Wales. Her senior debut came at the age of just 16 as a substitute against Azerbaijan in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers and has remained a constant figure in the squad ever since.
After being named as part of LCFC Women's leadership group ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, the midfielder debuting against her former side Tottenham, on the opening day of the season.
Having settled into life in Leicestershire, the former Spurs player has been deployed in central defence in most matches during the 23/24 season, as the experienced player looks to help strengthen the backline on Filbert Way.
